Former legendary French footballer and ex-coach of Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, will not be coaching Bayern Munich.

As reported by Florian Plettenberg, the French duo of Zidane and Franck Ribéry will not lead the Munich team. It's worth noting that Julian Nagelsmann has had discussions with his former club, which is currently seeking a successor to Thomas Tuchel. Interestingly, Nagelsmann himself was replaced by Tuchel as the head coach of the record champion in March 2023.

The pool of successors to Tuchel is currently very narrow, and besides the current boss of Brighton, Roberto De Zerbi, it includes the head coach of Bayer Leverkusen, Javi Alonso. Ralph Rangnick's candidacy has also been discussed, but he is currently not the top priority for Munich.

It is worth recalling that Bayer Leverkusen's head coach, Xabi Alonso, has made a decision regarding his future for the next season. Despite interest from Bayern Munich and Liverpool, the Spanish coach will stay at Bayer.
