The legendary footballer named the ideal coach for Manchester United
Former Manchester United and England defender, Gary Neville, named the coach he would like to see at the helm of the Red Devils.
A Sky Sports expert said he really likes the work of Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp. It was with this mentor, according to Neville, that his former club could get out of the crisis.
“Klopp is working with a budget that is much smaller than Guardiola's. At the same time, Guardiola is a genius. This person will be one of those who will be remembered forever.
But Jürgen Klopp is simply an amazing manager. If you told me to bring a manager for Manchester United tomorrow, I would choose him without hesitation. But Liverpool may never give him the opportunity to leave,” Neville told Football365.
It is noteworthy that Klopp has been working with the Reds since 2015. With him, the team won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
However, despite Neville's admission, Klopp has already stated on several occasions that he has no plans to leave Liverpool anytime soon. In March 2020, he extended his contract with the club until 2024.
