Legendary English coach Harry Redknapp shared his thoughts on the next manager of Liverpool, as reported by Anfield Edition.

According to the former Tottenham manager, he sees former Liverpool midfield legend Steven Gerrard as the ideal candidate for the position.

"I want to say that some people might think I'm out of my mind, but I would give it to Steven Gerrard. I still believe in him; I don't write people off," stated Harry Redknapp.

It's worth noting that on January 20, 2017, the official Liverpool website announced that Gerrard had become a coach in the club's academy. His first senior managerial role was with Scottish side Rangers, with negotiations starting as early as April 2018. Steven officially took charge of the prestigious Scottish club on June 1, 2018, beginning preparations for the 2018/19 season.

Additionally, Steven Gerrard has also worked with Aston Villa, and currently manages Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.
