The legendary Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci bid farewell to Fenerbahçe fans before his final match in his career, against Istanbulspor.

The seasoned defender made a symbolic lap of honor around the pitch, expressing gratitude to the "Canaries" supporters for their unwavering support.

Bonucci joined Fenerbahçe in January. During his time with the Istanbul-based club, the defender played 12 matches and provided 1 assist.

Best known for his performances with Juventus, where he amassed 502 appearances over 12 years, Bonucci also enjoyed success with the Italian national team, winning the European Championship in 2021.

Today marks the final round of the Turkish Super Lig. If Fenerbahçe secures victory and Galatasaray suffers defeat in a parallel match, Bonucci's team will be crowned champions of Turkey for the 2024 season.
