The legend stays: Luis Suárez extends contract with Inter Miami

Inter Miami has officially announced the contract extension of Uruguayan legendary striker Luis Suárez.

Details: According to the club’s official website, the new deal extends for another season, keeping Suárez with the team until the end of 2025. The striker expressed his delight at continuing with the club and shared his hopes for delivering even more joy to the fans in the coming season.

Quote: "I’m very happy and very excited to keep working for another year and to enjoy my time here with this fan base, which feels like family to us. We feel deeply connected to them, and we hope that next year we can bring them even more happiness," Suárez stated.

Suárez joined the American club on December 22, 2023, and made his debut on February 21, 2024, in the season opener against Real Salt Lake, where he provided an assist.

Reminder: Inter Miami recently announced the appointment of Argentine and Barcelona legend Javier Mascherano as their head coach. Mascherano signed a contract with the club until 2027.
