Today, all of India celebrates the 15th anniversary of one of the greatest moments in the nation's sporting history—the 2011 Cricket World Cup victory. To mark the occasion, the legendary Sachin Tendulkar sent social media into a frenzy by posting a viral video, once again appearing in the iconic blue jersey of the national team.

Details: The “Master” reminisced about the emotions of that unforgettable night at Wankhede Stadium—memories that remain etched in the hearts of a billion fans.

“The first ball always makes your heart race... and that night, it never stopped for a second. 15 years later, that feeling is still with us,” Tendulkar wrote in his post on platform X.

The legend emphasized that his generation of players grew up united by a single dream—to win the World Cup for India. In his final tournament in 2011, Sachin finally ended the long wait, becoming the team's top scorer and lifting the coveted trophy on home soil.

The victory on April 2, 2011, ended a 28-year wait for the nation and crowned Tendulkar’s illustrious career. In that final against Sri Lanka, Gautam Gambhir (97 runs) and captain MS Dhoni, who sealed the win with a legendary six, emerged as the heroes of the night.

Reminder: Abhinav Mukund criticized the Lucknow Super Giants for their lack of strategy and bizarre team selections.
