The head coach of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs, Andy Reid, has extended his contract with the team.

The club announced that they have signed a new deal with their coach. The Chiefs have not disclosed the terms of the agreement, but numerous media outlets report that it is extended until 2029. Additionally, Reid's salary will exceed 18 million dollars per year. Thus, the new contract will make Reid the highest-paid coach in the NFL.

Furthermore, new agreements have also been signed by Chiefs' general manager Brett Veach and team president Mark Donovan. Their contracts are also extended until 2029. This trio has been working together since 2017.

Recall that on January 4, 2013, Reid signed a five-year contract as head coach of the Chiefs. During this period, he won the Super Bowl final three times: in 2019, 2022, and 2023.

Additionally, the National Football League has developed prototypes of new helmets for players, which have surpassed all existing ones. The league and the players' union conducted laboratory tests on the new helmet designs.
