Juventus's first-choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny wants to conclude his career with the Turin team, as reported by Tutto.

The Polish goalkeeper is set to meet with the club's management to discuss a new contract. His current agreement runs until the summer of 2025. Szczęsny himself desires to end his career with the Turin side, but to achieve this, a new contract needs to be negotiated. The Italian club is requesting Szczęsny to reduce his salary. During the meeting with the management, they will discuss the situation.

On July 19, 2017, Wojciech Szczęsny signed a contract with Juventus. The transfer fee amounted to €12.2 million plus €3.1 million in potential bonuses. In his new club, the goalkeeper wears the number 23 shirt. Szczęsny extended his contract until 2021.

Since the summer of 2018, following Gianluigi Buffon's departure to Paris Saint-Germain, Wojciech became Juventus's main goalkeeper. The player underwent surgery on his right knee, which he postponed until the end of the season.

Incidentally, Liverpool has been closely linked with a move for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, who has encountered difficulties in renewing his contract with the Italian club.
