Inter, the champions of Italy, have reached a new contract agreement with their leading striker, Lautaro Martinez, as reported by Sky Sport Italia.
According to sources, the player's agent, Alejandro Camaño, and the leadership of the Nerazzurri held a meeting on June 13 to discuss all the details and reached a consensus on the new deal.
"Inter and Lautaro will decide when the time is right. Then the club will officially announce it. I work for the player, and his decision is always very important," said the player's agent.
It is noted that the striker will earn €9 million per season under the new contract plus bonuses tied to sporting results.
The forward, who will turn 27 in August, joined Inter for €25 million in the summer of 2018. This season, he scored 24 goals in Serie A in 33 appearances.
