Inter's head coach, Simone Inzaghi, has decided on his future with the Milanese club.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the Italian specialist is prepared to extend his contract with Inter until 2027. Under the new agreement, his salary will be €6.5 million per year. His current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025.
A final meeting between Inter's management and the coach is expected this week to finalize the deal.
Simone Inzaghi has been leading Inter since 2021. In the 2023/24 season, the Milan club clinched the Italian championship. In the Champions League, the Nerazzurri were halted at the Round of 16.
At the end of May, Inter gained new owners, with the club being acquired by Oaktree Capital.
