"An irritation in the IOC's throat," - IBA president on the exclusion of his federation

The International Olympic Committee has decided to exclude the IBA from the list of recognized federations. The federation's president, Umar Kremlev, responded to this, reports the Daily Mail.
"IBA is a thorn in the side of the IOC. Currently, they are limiting athletes because only the IBA offers prize money at championships, and only our organization allows athletes from Russia and Belarus to compete under their national flag and anthem.
We are an independent and transparent organization that does not tolerate discrimination. Meanwhile, the IOC behaves like fascists, orchestrating a genocide of athletes based on nationality and making politicized decisions. The IOC are political prostitutes who fear their own shadow," he stated.
It is worth noting that the International Olympic Committee has revoked the recognition of the International Boxing Association (IBA) as a recognized federation.
The decision was made unanimously during the IOC session in Paris. The issues between the IOC and IBA date back to 2019, when the federation, under previous leadership, faced difficulties with management, finances, and judging.
