Milan defender Pierre Kalulu has resumed training after recovering from injury. The 23-year-old Frenchman has been sidelined since October 29th after sustaining a muscle injury.

Although he is currently training with some restrictions, he is nearing a full return to action. This season, the defender has played in five matches.

Last week saw the return to action of Kalulu's teammate Malik Thiaw, who had been sidelined since November. Additionally, the return of defender Fikayo Tomori, who has been out since December, is expected in the near future.

However, there's unfortunate news for Stefano Pioli as Davide Calabria is still struggling with a muscle issue he sustained in the match against Napoli last week.

It is anticipated that the Rossoneri captain will not recover in time for the Europa League playoff second leg against Rennes on Thursday. Therefore, Alessandro Florenzi or Filippo Terracciano are expected to deputize for him at the right-back position.

Earlier reports indicated that Milan's owner is prepared to allocate a significant sum for summer transfers.
