French Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Olise has reached a preliminary agreement to sign a major deal with American sportswear giant Nike.

Details: According to Footy Headlines, a leading football equipment news outlet, the 24-year-old winger had deliberately rejected offers from various brands for a long time. The main reason for his stance was the player’s desire to wear only his familiar 2018 Hypervenom boots, production of which was discontinued by the manufacturer several years ago.

The American corporation managed to convince the star player by offering him an unprecedented partnership deal. According to reports, Nike is preparing to bring the iconic Hypervenom range back to the global market in 2027, with Olise approved as the key ambassador and the face of the worldwide advertising campaign for the revamped boots.

It is worth noting that Michael Olise joined Bayern Munich from London-based Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024 and immediately won over fans in the German championship. His phenomenal dribbling, inventive passing and prolific scoring have helped him become one of the Bundesliga’s biggest stars, while also establishing him as a regular starter for the France national team.
