English goalscorer commits his future to Munich. Harry Kane has decided on his next contract
England captain Harry Kane has reached an agreement in principle with Bayern Munich to extend his contract until the summer of 2029.
Details: According to renowned sports broadcaster Sky Sports, the parties have settled all the key details of the future deal and fully agreed on the financial terms of the revised contract. The German club's legal department is currently finalising the necessary paperwork, after which the extension of the 33-year-old goalscorer's tenure will be officially announced.
The new contract is intended to put an end once and for all to the numerous rumours of the striker potentially returning to the English Premier League. Bayern's hierarchy highly values the Englishman's phenomenal goalscoring record and leadership authority in the dressing room, viewing him as the undisputed foundation of the team's attack for the seasons ahead.
It is worth noting that the Tottenham academy graduate has played for Bayern since the summer of 2023, joining the German giants for a fee of more than €100 million. Since moving to Germany, the striker has shown remarkable consistency, regularly topping the Bundesliga scoring charts and remaining Bayern's main attacking force on the European stage.
