It is reported that Cubarsí's home was robbed on New Year's Eve, January 30, with the thieves making off with expensive watches and other valuables. As for Garcia, his house was broken into on January 10, with the burglars stealing several valuable pieces of jewelry.
According to the Catalan police, the total value of the stolen items is estimated at around 6,000 euros. At this stage, the Catalan authorities continue their investigation, but rule out the possibility that the same person was behind both burglaries.
This is far from the first time Barcelona players have been targeted by burglars. Previously, the homes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ivan Rakitić were also robbed.
