The goalkeeper prematurely ended his morning training session due to a tear in the left adductor muscle. Consequently, Manuel Neuer will miss the upcoming two friendly matches of the national team.

The German national team is scheduled to play two friendlies: against France on May 23, away, and against the Netherlands at home on March 26.

Neuer made his debut for the German national team on June 2, 2009, in a friendly match against the UAE. He was part of the team that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

It is worth recalling that Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois suffered a recurrence of injury and is unlikely to play for the rest of the season. It has been revealed that the Belgian has been diagnosed with a tear in the inner meniscus of his right knee.
