Paris Saint-Germain, the French champions, are interested in signing Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen from Napoli. However, it's still too early to draw conclusions about this deal.

According to journalist RMCsport Fabrice Hawkins, the Parisian club has not yet reached agreements with either the player or his current club. Work in this direction is ongoing.

Previously, it was reported that PSG wants to sign Osimhen as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who will move to Real Madrid in the summer. Among other contenders for the forward, the media mentioned Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United.

Osimhen's contract includes a buyout clause of €130 million, and the Italian champions are hoping to receive that amount for their player. In 2020, Napoli paid Lille €75 million for him.

In the current season, the 25-year-old Nigerian forward has scored 14 goals in 26 matches for Napoli.
