João Félix, currently on loan to Barcelona from Atlético Madrid, has shared his thoughts on continuing with the Catalan club.
The Portuguese forward expressed his desire to remain with Barça, but he acknowledged that the decision is not entirely in his hands.
“I am on loan, so it's not up to me. My plan is clear, I love Barcelona and I want to stay. It depends on several factors, so we’ll see what happens,” said Félix to The Nude Project.
João Félix is officially an Atlético Madrid player, but he joined Barça on loan last year. In the recently concluded season, he played 30 matches, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
It was previously reported that Barcelona aims to retain both Portuguese loanees, João Félix and João Cancelo, for the next season.
The new season will see Hans-Dieter Flick leading Barcelona, following the departure of Xavi Hernández.
