The former PSG defender will move to a Turkish giant
The former PSG, Tottenham, and Villarreal defender Serge Aurier will soon discover a new country. According to Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray has rekindled interest in the player's transfer after failing to agree on financial terms with his current club, Nottingham Forest.
However, Aurier himself insisted on the move to the shores of the Bosphorus, expressing a strong desire to relocate to Turkey at any cost. The clubs are now on the verge of reaching final terms.
Aurier moved to Nottingham in September 2022 as a free agent after departing from Villarreal. In the current season, he has played 13 matches for the "Forest," contributing with two assists. Transfermarkt values the player at seven million euros.
With Aurier, Galatasaray may find a replacement for Sachа Boey, whom the Istanbul club sold to Bayern Munich.
