The former Bayern Munich and Mainz striker may continue his career at Mainz

At the end of the 2023/24 season, Bayern Munich striker Eric Choupo-Moting did not renew his contract with the club and left as a free agent.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Mainz has approached the player's agents regarding a potential free transfer and is prepared to offer him a contract. Choupo-Moting is currently considering options for continuing his career.

Additionally, the transfer saga surrounding Bayern Munich's central defender Matthijs de Ligt and his move to Bayern Munich appears to be concluded.

Furthermore, with less than a month remaining until the official start of the season, Bayern Munich has decided to officially unveil their new away kit today.

This is a stark contrast to recent reports suggesting the Red Devils had made significant progress in negotiations with the Munich club, nearly agreeing on a transfer fee of 50 million euros plus bonuses.
