The former Barcelona midfielder has announced the end of his career


Another renowned footballer in Europe has decided to hang up his boots.
Details: Former Brazilian national team and Barcelona midfielder Paulinho has announced his retirement at the age of 36.
Paulinho shared the news on his Instagram account, and while reflecting on the end of his football journey, the Brazilian couldn't hold back his tears.
His final club was Corinthians, where he played three separate stints, accumulating 212 appearances, scoring 40 goals, and providing 17 assists.

Reminder: In the summer of 2017, Paulinho joined Barcelona from Guangzhou Evergrande. In 49 matches for the Catalan side, he scored 9 goals and registered 3 assists, but by the summer of 2018, he returned to Guangzhou Evergrande. The midfielder also had a spell in Europe with Tottenham Hotspur.
