In the final of the 10-meter air rifle mixed team event, China's Huang Yuting and Sheng Lihao faced off against South Korea's Kom Ji-hyun and Park Ha-jun. The Chinese team emerged victorious with a score of 16-12.
Thus, the first gold medals of the Paris Olympics were claimed by China. The silver went to South Korea. Kazakhstan rounded out the top three, surpassing Germany in the fight for the bronze medal.

It is noteworthy that the Chinese team missed the Olympic record by just one point. In the current competition, they scored 632.2 points, while the record belongs to their compatriots. At the 2021 Tokyo Games, Yang Qian and Yang Haoran scored a total of 633.2 points.
