In the opening round of Ligue 1, PSG played away against Le Havre on Friday, August 16.

Within the first three minutes, Paris Saint-Germain took the lead with a goal from Lee Kang-In. Throughout the first half, PSG managed the game well, keeping possession and limiting Le Havre's attacking opportunities. However, shortly after the break, Le Havre equalized to make it 1-1. A few minutes later, they scored again, but the goal was disallowed due to a handball by the attacker.

Le Havre defended resolutely, and PSG struggled to create chances for a long time. It wasn't until the 85th minute that Ousmane Dembélé scored PSG's second goal. Following that, PSG went on to add more goals, ultimately securing a 4-1 victory.

PSG secured a hard-fought win in their first match without Kylian Mbappé.
