The Fight Draws Nearer: Warren Talks About Meeting Usyk's Representatives
Daniel Dubois holds the IBF heavyweight title, while Oleksandr Usyk possesses all the other belts. Therefore, the fight for the undisputed world champion title seems to be drawing ever closer.
Details: Promoter Frank Warren reported that they had a meeting with Usyk's representatives, and all parties are interested in a bout between the Brit and the Ukrainian.
Quote: "Usyk's people have already made their position clear. I met with them, had a brief conversation with Krasyuk and Klimas – they want this fight. And why wouldn't we want it? All four belts are at stake, all the hype after the last fight, all the discussions," Warren stated.
However, he emphasized once again that the final decision rests with Dubois, as he is the one who will step into the ring. The entire team will soon make the final choice.
Reminder: WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk also recently stated that he is ready for a rematch against IBF champion Daniel Dubois in this weight category.
