Details: Initially, it was planned that the game would resume tomorrow, without fans and from the moment of interruption. However, Beerschot decided not to continue the match, which automatically resulted in a 5-0 loss.
Even after the final whistle, the atmosphere at the Bosuil stadium remained tense. Hundreds of Antwerp fans were waiting for the Beerschot supporters' buses. To prevent mass clashes between fans, the police were forced to use water cannons and tear gas.
