The FA and FIFA could face a lawsuit from a Premier League club

Intentions to suspend a Premier League club player for life for the English association may turn into litigation.
Thus, to protect their midfielder Lucas Paqueta intends West Ham, which, according to The Sun, intends to file a lawsuit in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne to prevent the case in England.
The Hammers' argument is that all the suspicious betting took place in Brazil, where there is a higher burden of proof in sporting disciplinary cases.
FIFA may also be involved in the case, as the suspension from football will apply not only to England, but to the whole world.
It will be recalled that in early June, it was reported that Paqueta was accused of deliberately receiving four yellow cards in various Premier League matches between November 2022 and August 2023, as these were the matches that saw an abnormal amount of betting on that outcome.
