Italian media have released explosive new details tied to the ongoing investigation into escort services in Milan. According to the probe, there have been instances where sex workers became pregnant by footballers, only to face threats and blackmail as attempts were made to protect the athletes’ reputations.
Details: Il Giornale reports that the search warrant, now in the hands of investigators, includes a substantial list of names—featuring a host of current and former Serie A stars. Among the high-profile footballers named are Alessandro Bastoni, Rafael Leão, Olivier Giroud, Dušan Vlahović, Gianluca Scamacca, and others.
The list isn’t limited to Serie A players. The full roster of names is as follows:
Bastoni, Bellanova, Bisseck, Hakimi, Coutinho, Škriniar, Augusto, De Winter, Leão, Giroud, Ménez, Calafiori, Heisen, Vlahović, Arthur, Álvaro, Scamacca, Ruggeri, Maldini, Tavares.
However, it’s important to highlight that the mere mention of these names in official documents does not mean these players are criminal suspects. Most likely, the names surfaced during phone surveillance conducted by prosecutors as part of the broader investigation.
At this stage, law enforcement authorities have not filed any official charges against any of the athletes mentioned in the investigation materials.
Reminder: The Italy national team has introduced radical new reforms.
