The England players disagree with Southgate's decision to exclude Grealish

The decision by England's head coach, Gareth Southgate, not to call up Jack Grealish for the 2024 European Championship has surprised not only fans and the media.

According to The Telegraph, the England players are shocked by Southgate's decision. One of the team's most experienced players reportedly initiated a personal meeting with the coach to persuade him otherwise.

Grealish himself is devastated and deeply upset about missing out on Euro 2024.

Instead of Grealish, England's squad includes Jarrod Bowen from West Ham and Anthony Gordon from Newcastle.

At the European Championship, England will face Slovenia, Serbia, and Denmark in the group stage.
