In the recent match at the Etihad against RB Leipzig, Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, took on the role of a supporter from the sidelines. The Spanish tactician expressed concern that the fans might be taking the team's dominance for granted, particularly after the past season's treble and securing five Premier League titles in the last six years. Guardiola urged the devoted supporters to relish what the team currently possesses because such a state of affairs cannot last forever.

In his words, quoted by Mirror, Guardiola stated:

"We have won a lot, and in the future, we must understand that this is an exception. It's not normal. It's not normal to win so many trophies, win five Premier Leagues in six years, and they [the fans] have to understand that. Keep enjoying what we have now, but bad moments are ahead of us - this season and the next, and the next, and the next. You must be with us. And I'm almost sure you will be there because it's a club that came from Maine Road, and it was mid-table, not fighting for titles, and you were there all the time."

He continued, "I wasn't there, but I talk to people who were always there. That's the most important thing. I know they know that because otherwise what we have done would be impossible - they are always there, always."

As of now, Manchester City occupies the second position in the Premier League, trailing Arsenal by four points, but the Gunners have already completed their fixture in the current round. The next game for the Citizens will be today against Tottenham.
