On Wednesday, March 20th, the group stage draw for the women's Olympic tournament 2024 took place.
The tournament will feature 12 national teams: France, Canada, Colombia, New Zealand, USA, Germany, Australia, Spain, Japan, and Brazil. Additionally, two more teams representing Africa are yet to be determined.
The groups for the 2024 Olympic football tournament are as follows:
- Group A: France, Canada, Colombia, New Zealand.
- Group B: USA, Germany, Australia, CAF 2 (representative from Africa).
- Group C: Spain, Japan, Brazil, CAF 1 (representative from Africa).
It's worth noting that the football competition at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games will take place in Paris and six other cities in France from July 24th to August 10th.
Additionally, on Wednesday, March 20th, the group stage draw for the men's Olympic tournament 2024 also took place.
