The DR Congo team arrives in Spain to continue their training camp
Sébastien Desabre and his squad will fine-tune their tactics ahead of the friendly against Chile, in preparation for the 2026 World Cup.
The Congolese national team has travelled to Spain following the first phase of their preparations in Belgium. The DR Congo Leopards had been based in Liège, where their training camp featured a friendly match against Denmark (0-0).
However, the Democratic Republic of Congo team has now set its sights on Spain. Sébastien Desabre and his players have taken up residence in Malaga. A friendly match is scheduled against Chile on 9 June. However, there remains uncertainty as to whether this fixture will take place on Spanish soil.
In the meantime, the Democratic Republic of Congo continues its preparations for the World Cup, scheduled to take place this summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The competition kicks off on 11 June.
