Mats Hummels left Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2024 and has since signed with AS Roma. While he has yet to make his debut for the new club, it seems the time has come for him to step onto the pitch.

Details: According to Sky Sports, the German center-back is set to start in the lineup for the third round of the UEFA Europa League match against Dynamo Kyiv. Roma’s coach Ivan Juric has also commented on Hummels' potential debut.

Quote: "We need Hummels. I'll see when the time comes, but I'm seriously considering using him," stated the manager of the Wolves.

Reminder: For the 35-year-old player, the club from the Italian capital marks his first foreign venture, having spent his career exclusively between two German football giants: Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

Overall, he has played 442 matches in the Bundesliga for both clubs and another 90 in the Champions League. Hummels also boasts 78 appearances and a World Cup title with the German national team.
