Confirmed. Hummels has signed a contract with Roma

Former Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels has not even been prevented by the closure of the transfer window from finding a new club, which is Roma.

However, the Romans have not revealed the lines of the contract with the experienced German defender. But we know for sure that he came to Daniele De Rossi's team for free, as he was without a club after his agreement with the Bumblebees expired.

For the 35-year-old, the club from the Italian capital was the first foreign club for the player as he previously spent his career exclusively between the two grandees of German football: Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

He played a combined 442 games for both clubs in the German Bundesliga and a further 90 in the Champions League. Hummels also has 78 games and a World Cup title with the German national team to his credit.

Earlier, Roma also reinforced former Atletico Madrid defender Mario Hermoso.
