The day of reckoning for Bafana Bafana is here as Hugo Broos names his World Cup squad later today
Hugo Broos is having his toughest day as the Bafana Bafana coach today.
The national team coach announces his team this evening at 7pm and he will be flanked by the country's president Cyril Ramaphosa.
Broos' Bafana are in Group A alongside Mexico, Czech Republic and South Korea and they play the opening game on June 11.
The coach, though, will not have it hard selecting his final squad as he revealed a month ago, that he has 70% of his team in his mind.
Today, the national will be waiting to hear what he has in his mind and who will represent South Africa at the global showpiece.
His squad is likely to be dominated by Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns players given the two team's impressive pedigree in recent seasons.
While this will be Broos' toughest assignment, it will be tougher for players as the coach will leave and take some with him.
