With less than a month remaining until the start of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, one spot in the tournament is still up for grabs.
Details: Today, FIFA has officially confirmed the date for the decisive match between Los Angeles FC and Mexico's América, who will battle it out for the final ticket to the Club World Cup.
This high-stakes clash is set for May 31 in Los Angeles.
One of these teams will replace Mexican side León in the tournament, after León was disqualified due to having the same owner as another participant, Pachuca.
The winner will join a group featuring Chelsea, Flamengo, and Espérance.
Reminder: Wydad from Morocco, another Club World Cup participant, has received a transfer ban from FIFA.
