The Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova (WTA 14) is at risk of missing the Australian Open in 2024.
It is reported that the 33-year-old athlete, after a back injury sustained in early October in Beijing, has not yet returned to the court.
Kvitova continues her rehabilitation in the gym, and as of today, she is far from fully recovering her playing conditions.
Petra is a two-time Wimbledon champion, and her best result at the Australian major was reaching the final in 2019.
Earlier reports suggested that Bianca Andreescu might also miss the Australian Open 2024.
