"The criticism towards him is unfair" - Benzema stands up for Vinicius
Legendary former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has publicly defended Vinicius Junior, highlighting the immense pressure the Brazilian player faces.
Details: In an interview with Diario As, former Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema stated that Vinicius does not deserve such criticism, considering everything he has done for the Madrid club.
"He’s truly a good guy with a big heart, always striving to get better. He’s under enormous pressure, but he handles it brilliantly. He’s still young, but he already has a wealth of experience with Real. People shouldn’t forget what he has contributed to the club. The criticism towards him is unfair," Benzema said.
This season, the Brazilian has played sixteen matches for Real across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing four assists. However, it’s worth noting that his last goal involvement came back in early October, when he scored a brace against Villarreal.
Reminder: Karim Benzema stated that he does not rule out a possible return to Real.
