"I could never say no to Real" - Karim Benzema reveals if he could return to Real Madrid
Everything will depend on the president of the Galacticos, Florentino Pérez.
Details: In an interview with AS, 37-year-old French striker Karim Benzema of Saudi club Al-Ittihad admitted he would be open to returning to Real Madrid, where he enjoyed the best years of his career. However, the decision would ultimately rest with Florentino Pérez:
"Could I return to Real Madrid? If Florentino is still there, then it's possible. I could never say no to Real or to Pérez.
I'm a Madridista. I feel it in my soul. Madrid is still my city. We'll see what happens," he said.
Benzema left Real in 2023, joining Al-Ittihad as a free agent after his contract with Los Blancos expired. During his time at Real, he played 648 matches, scoring 354 goals and providing 158 assists. In 2022, while at Real, Benzema won the first and only Ballon d'Or of his career.
