On Friday, 14 November, reports surfaced claiming that Florentino Pérez planned to step down from his position in 2026. However, that information was quickly dismissed.
Details: According to Onda Cero, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has no intention of leaving his post before the end of his mandate, which runs until 2028. Pérez himself will address all questions at the Assembly scheduled for 23 November.
An extraordinary meeting will take place in 2025 to resolve issues regarding Real Madrid’s membership model, rather than in 2026.
Reminder: Despite numerous reports that some players are dissatisfied with Alonso’s methods, the Spanish coach continues to enjoy full confidence from the club’s management.
