Forward Mario Balotelli from Adana Demirspor might be leaving his current team to make a comeback in Serie A, as reported by Football-Italia.

According to the source, the striker aims to shine in his homeland league to secure a chance for inclusion in the Italian national team for Euro 2024.

Reportedly, three Serie A clubs are interested in the controversial forward's services: Salernitana, Udinese, and Empoli.

It's worth noting that the 33-year-old Balotelli moved to the Turkish league this autumn, joining his new team as a free agent. In the Turkish Super Lig, the Italian forward scored three goals in five matches. However, he hasn't been on the field since November following knee surgery due to an injury.

Previously, Mario has played for Sion, Monza, Brescia, Marseille, Nice, Liverpool, Milan, Manchester City, and Inter.

Additionally, he has 36 caps for the Italian national team, scoring 14 goals and providing five assists.
