The conditions under which Pioli could stay at Milan are known
Stefano Pioli's future as Milan head coach is literally hanging by a thread. Earlier, we reported that the bosses of the Rossoneri were considering the possibility of the specialist's resignation in December. Soon these rumours subsided, but now the talk about the dismissal of the 58-year-old specialist has gained momentum again.
Nevertheless, Pioli can save his position, because La Gazzetta dello Sport calls the conditions under which the coach can stay in Milan. These are: victory in the Europa League and second place in Serie A.
The bet is on a triumph in Europe, because Milan have not won on the continental stage for 17 years since winning the Champions League in 2007, and winning the Europa League would end the season on a positive note, even despite losing the Scudetto.
Milan will play Slavia Prague in the Europa League 1/8 finals. The first match will take place on 7 March at the San Siro, with the return leg a week later in the Czech capital.
