Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, has stated that Erling Haaland may return to training on December 14.

During his press conference, Guardiola mentioned that the Norwegian striker is expected to resume training on Thursday, but the club is still monitoring Erling Haaland's condition. The Manchester City forward will miss the match against Crvena Zvezda. The next game is scheduled for December 16 against Crystal Palace.

Previously, the club reported that the player is dealing with a stress reaction in the foot bone, but they did not provide details about the timeline for his return. In 15 matches of the current Premier League season, Haaland has scored 14 goals and provided four assists.

It's worth noting that in May 2022, Manchester City announced the agreement for Haaland's transfer for £51.2 million. The actual transfer took place on July 1, 2022. Additionally, it has been revealed that the player's contract includes a release clause of €150 million, which will be active after two seasons.
