Sunderland, the Championship team, has announced the dismissal of their second coach this season, as reported on the club's website.

It was revealed that the English team has terminated the contract with Michael Byle, who took over as head coach just two months ago.

"We are disappointed to see Michael Byle leave Sunderland. We aim for improvement, but unfortunately, it wasn't evident, so we take full responsibility and believe decisive actions are in the best interests of the club.

It's been a tough few months for Michael, who leaves us with the best wishes for the future," stated Sunderland's Sporting Director, Christian Speakman.

Michael Byle managed 12 matches with the "Black Cats" - securing four victories, two draws, and suffering six defeats. The team lost their last two matches against opponents from the bottom half of the table.

Furthermore, Sunderland has named Michael Dodds as Byle's successor. Dodds, who previously served as Byle's assistant, will act as interim head coach until the end of the current season.
