The Bø brothers to take part in the City Biathlon legends race

The upcoming biathlon season will be the first without the Bø brothers, who wrapped up their professional careers at the end of the last campaign. However, fans will still get the chance to see them in action.
Details: Both Johannes and Tarjei Bø will compete in the legends race during the City Biathlon event, which takes place on August 31 in Dresden, Germany. The race format features a course of approximately 2.3 kilometres winding through the city centre and along the banks of the Elbe River.
The start and finish lines, as well as the shooting range, will be located at the Heinz Steyer Stadium. The competition will begin with a qualification round and culminate in a mass start final.
Reminder: In Dresden, although not in the legends race, last season’s second-ranked biathlete Lou Jeanmonnot will also compete. In the final race of last season, she missed out on the Big Crystal Globe to Franziska Preuß due to a costly mistake.
Johannes Bø finished last season in second place, trailing his compatriot Sturla Holm Lægreid by 118 points in the overall standings, while Tarjei ended up in eighth.
