Details: According to German journalist and insider Florian Plettenberg on his social media page X, Jürgen Klopp’s coaching staff for the German national team is starting to take shape. As reported by BILD, former defender Sven Bender is on the verge of being appointed as assistant to the new head coach of the national team.
Negotiations between the parties are reportedly in the final stages, although official paperwork has yet to be signed.
It is expected that Klopp will also be joined in the German setup by his long-time associates Peter Krawietz and Pepijn Lijnders, with whom he enjoyed great success at his previous clubs.
According to German media, Klopp himself has already agreed on all key terms of cooperation with the German Football Association. His contract will run until 2030, and the official unveiling of the new head coach is expected to take place on Friday in Frankfurt.
