Deal sealed! Jürgen Klopp returns to work
Jürgen Klopp is on the verge of being officially appointed as the head coach of the German national team. According to Florian Plettenberg, the renowned manager has already reached a full agreement with the German Football Association (DFB) and is set to replace Julian Nagelsmann at the helm of the national squad.
Reports indicate that the parties have agreed on a contract running through to the 2030 World Cup. Furthermore, a principal agreement has also been struck between the DFB and Red Bull, where Klopp held an executive role after leaving Liverpool.
If there are no last-minute changes, Klopp will sign the contract in Frankfurt as early as Friday. On the same day, the DFB plans to officially announce the new head coach and hold a special press conference.
