Unsatisfactory results for Bayern and a tense atmosphere within the team have led to a division within the squad. Part of the team continues to support head coach Thomas Tuchel, while another part advocates for his departure.

According to Bild, those in favor of continuing with Tuchel include Manuel Neuer, Raphael Guerreiro, Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sané, Harry Kane, and Eric Dier. Among those opposing the head coach are Thomas Müller, Joshua Kimmich, Matthijs de Ligt, Serge Gnabry, Leon Goretzka, and Matthis Tel.

Bayern has lost their last three matches in all competitions. The team currently trails Bayer by eight points in the Bundesliga.

Earlier reports indicated that the Munich club's management does not plan to dismiss Tuchel and his coaching staff before the end of the season.
