The club is hopeful that Antony will be able to help the team in the upcoming clash against Sevilla.

Details: According to El ChiringuitoTV, the La Liga competition committee has rejected Betis' appeal regarding the red card shown to Brazilian midfielder Antony, and the one-match suspension remains in place.

However, Betis is not giving up so easily and is already preparing a second appeal to the Spanish Appeals Committee, hoping that the Brazilian's suspension will be overturned and he will be able to play in Sunday's La Liga fixture against Sevilla.

Antony was sent off in the match against Girona for a reckless foul in the 91st minute. This season, Antony has made 12 appearances for Betis, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists.
