The Barcelona defender has made a decision on his future with the team

Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen has recently been strongly linked with a move away from the Blaugrana, as the club are planning a reset of the squad after Xavi's departure and there have been claims for the centre-back.

But, as the Dane himself admitted in a conversation with TV2, he has no desire to leave Catalonia:

"I'm not going anywhere. When I came here I knew where I was going and I'm still incredibly happy. I don't see myself anywhere but Barcelona after the summer," Christensen said.

Barcelona head coach Xavi has been using the 27-year-old defender in midfield lately, and Christensen believes that is what he hopes to bribe the new Catalan coach with.

Christensen has played 20 games for Barcelona this season, with two assists. Transfermarkt values him at 40 million euros.
