The Arsenal midfielder met with representatives of Juventus. Transfer is possible already in winter
The Arsenal and Ghana national team midfielder, Thomas Partey, recently held a meeting with his agents alongside representatives from Juventus.
According to reports from Foot Mercato, discussions were centered around a possible transfer in the upcoming transfer window, yet it remains unknown what agreement the player and the representatives of the Italian club may have reached.
Partey signed a contract with Atletico in 2011 but didn't feature in a match until 2013, and even then, he did not take the field. In the same year, he was loaned to Mallorca for a year, followed by a loan spell at Almeria.
In 2020, Arsenal secured the midfielder's rights for €50 million, and he became a key player there. However, this season, due to an injury suffered in early September, Partey has only played five matches for the Gunners. After returning to the team in early October, the 30-year-old player faced another spell on the sidelines due to a muscular injury. His return to the field was forecasted for the following year.
